The event was a celebration of hope. It was the sixth Cancer Survivors Day event held by Guy's Cancer Charity, but the first since the pandemic, so it was a privilege for Radio Lollipop to be invited to support the event.

The entire centre was open for tours, talks and demonstrations and outside there was a barbeque and an ice cream truck along with Radio Lollipop's oversized snakes & ladders, arts & crafts table and music station.

The DJ table proved very popular amongst the adults, children and a very friendly 'unicorn'. Harry Styles and George Ezra seemed to be amongst the favourites and of course as soon as Baby Shark came on everyone started doing the hand actions!

A big part of the event was the fashion show. The models were patients from 4 different London hospitals where they have either been treated or currently undergoing treatment. The energy on the catwalk was explosive and it was a pleasure for Radio Lollipop to have been part of the special day.
